Office Hours & Services
Tuesday – Appointments Only (10:00 am – 4:00 pm)
Appointments must be booked in advance.
We provide one-to-one support, including:
- Wellbeing and emotional support
- Interpreting and form-filling assistance
- Registration with a GP (family doctor)
- Completing application forms (benefits, housing, support services, etc.)
- Referrals to housing services
- Signposting to legal aid and immigration advice
- Referrals to colleges for ESOL and education
- Crisis support and emergency help
- General advice and community support
Wednesday – ESOL Classes (10:30 am – 12:30 pm)
Weekly English classes to support language development and community integration.
Thursday – Clothing Support (10:00 am – 2:00 pm)
We receive clothing donations and distribute them directly to individuals and families in need.
Wellbeing & Community Activities
SSO will be delivering monthly wellbeing sessions, community workshops, and support activities.

Book An Appointment With Us
Please use the form below to book an appointment to meet with an advisor, regarding general advice services or for Refreshing Day General Information and Food Bank and Clothes Distribution.
You must attend the appointment at the time and date you have selected. We will take up to a few days to confirm your appointment and once we confirm you will receive an email confirming your appointment. This email may go to your spam/junk folder so make sure to check there.

Clothing Assistance Request Form
SSO provides free clothing to individuals and families across Greater Manchester and the UK.
Please contact us so we can identify your needs and prepare the right support for you.
How It Works
- If your household has more than 10 residents, we can arrange delivery.
- If your household has fewer than 10 residents, you can collect items from:
Onyx House, 164 Cheetham Hill Rd, Manchester M8 8LQ
Important Information
- Clothing collection takes place every Thursday, 12 PM – 4 PM
- Appointments are required so we can prepare items in advance
- If you cannot collect for a valid reason, please tell us — we may be able to arrange delivery
- Each person can receive 3–5 items
- If your preferred items are unavailable, we will add you to a waiting list or offer suitable alternatives
