Where We Work
Standing With the Most Affected Communities
SSO is working across Sudan, reaching families in the areas hit hardest by violence and displacement — including:
White Nile State
Where thousands of displaced families are living in overcrowded camps with limited food, clean water, or medical care.
These are places where many humanitarian agencies cannot reach — but our local volunteers can, and they are delivering life-saving assistance every day.
Who We Support
Our work prioritises the most vulnerable people in Sudan:
- Displaced families who have lost everything
- Children, the elderly, and women-led households
- Families trapped under siege
- Returnees trying to rebuild their lives
- Communities without access to safe humanitarian assistance
- People affected by violence, ethnic targeting, and loss
What Your Support Provides
Through trusted community networks and volunteers on the ground, we deliver:
- Emergency food, clean water, hygiene supplies, baby items, blankets
- Over-the-counter medicine, first aid, and psychological support
- Shelter materials for families living in temporary accommodation
- Protection and advocacy for vulnerable groups
- Community-led humanitarian delivery in areas too dangerous for large agencies
Your Donation — No Matter the Size — Saves Lives
Humanitarian access in Sudan is extremely limited. That is why every contribution counts — even the smallest gift provides real support to families in crisis.
Whether you give a little or a lot, your support directly reaches families in Al-Fashir, White Nile State, and other affected areas across Sudan.
Together, We Can Bring Hope
Your generosity helps restore dignity, safety, and hope to people who have lost everything.
You can be the reason a family survives another day.
Donate today. Stand with the people of Sudan. Bring hope where it is needed most.
Crisis Support & Recovery Services
Communities across Sudan continue to face severe hardship as the conflict disrupts daily life, displaces families, and limits access to essential services. Many people are struggling with the loss of homes, livelihoods, and vital support networks.
At SSO, we work to ease this burden by providing humanitarian assistance to individuals and families affected by the ongoing crisis. Our team and partners on the ground help deliver essential support such as food, basic supplies, emergency guidance, and wellbeing support to those who need it most.
We remain committed to standing with vulnerable communities, offering hope, stability, and pathways to recovery during one of the most challenging times in Sudan’s recent history.
Distribution of Mosquito Nets and Hygiene Supplies
As part of our ongoing humanitarian efforts, the Solidarity & Support Organisation (SSO), in collaboration with the Ahlam Al-Sighar Charity Organisation, carried out a vital relief initiative to support displaced families across Sudan. This initiative took place at Abu Al-Naga Camp B, where essential items were distributed to 1,250 displaced individuals from various states.
The distribution included:
-Mosquito nets
-Bath soap
-Laundry soap
These supplies aim to improve health conditions, reduce the spread of diseases, and support families living in extremely difficult circumstances. This humanitarian effort was made possible through the generous contributions of SSO members, the Ahlam Al-Sighar Charity Organisation, and several kind-hearted donors who continue to stand with displaced communities during their time of need.
A Call for Continued Support
The needs in displacement camps remain urgent and immense. We call on:
• Humanitarian organisations

On 29 December 2024, the project continues for 6 month the Solidarity and Support Organisation (SSO), in collaboration with the Ahlam Al-Sighar Charity Organisation, carried out an important humanitarian initiative to distribute food supplies to displaced families from the Khartoum and Al-Jazira regions who have sought refuge in camps across Gedaref State.
This initiative aimed to support 500 displaced individuals, offering essential food assistance to families facing extremely difficult circumstances as a result of ongoing conflict and forced displacement.
The distribution was made possible through the generous contributions of SSO members, whose compassion and commitment helped ease the suffering of vulnerable families during this challenging time.
